1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility
By accessing and using EduVarsity ("Platform," "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use this Platform.
1.1 Eligibility Requirements
You represent and warrant that:
- •You are a qualified teacher, education professional, or administrator in India.
- •You have received a valid invitation to join EduVarsity (invite-only access).
- •You are at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent.
- •You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
- •All information provided during registration is accurate, complete, and truthful.
Misrepresenting your eligibility or providing false information is grounds for immediate account termination.
2. Account & Registration
2.1 Invite-Only Access
EduVarsity operates on an invite-only basis. Only individuals who have received a valid invitation code from an authorized source may create an account. Unauthorized access or account creation is prohibited.
2.2 One Account Per Person
You may create and maintain only one account on EduVarsity. Creating duplicate accounts, using false identities, or impersonating others is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension and permanent ban.
2.3 Account Credentials & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and are liable for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or suspected security breach. We will not be liable for unauthorized use if you fail to maintain account security.
2.4 Accurate Information
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and maintain updated information throughout your use of the Platform. We reserve the right to verify your identity and credentials at any time.
3. User-Generated Content
3.1 Ownership & Rights
All content you create, upload, or share on EduVarsity (posts, articles, images, lessons, assessments, comments) remains your intellectual property. You retain all ownership rights to your content.
3.2 License to Platform
By posting content on EduVarsity, you grant the Platform a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and reproduce your content within the Platform and for Platform operational purposes (e.g., backups, analytics). This license does not grant us ownership of your content.
3.3 Content Removal
You may delete your own content at any time. Deleted content will be removed from public view within 24 hours. However, copies may persist in backups for up to 90 days for disaster recovery purposes and will not be publicly accessible.
3.4 Content Standards
Your content must not violate applicable laws or these Terms. You may not post content that is:
- •Defamatory, libelous, or harmful to others
- •Sexually explicit or obscene
- •Hateful, discriminatory, or promotes violence
- •Infringing on third-party intellectual property
- •Containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree that you will not:
- 4.1
Harassment & Abuse: Harass, threaten, bully, or engage in abusive behavior toward any user. Repeated unwanted contact or sexually suggestive communication is strictly prohibited.
- 4.2
Impersonation: Impersonate another person or falsely claim affiliation with any person, organization, or authority.
- 4.3
Spam & Commercial Solicitation: Post spam, unsolicited advertising, or engage in commercial solicitation without prior written permission from the Platform. This includes pyramid schemes, MLM recruitment, and unauthorized promotional content.
- 4.4
Student Data Privacy: Share, disclose, or publish any confidential student information (names, grades, personal details, medical information) without explicit parental consent and in violation of FERPA or similar student privacy laws.
- 4.5
Unauthorized Access: Attempt to access, hack, or interfere with Platform systems, databases, or accounts. This includes using bots, scrapers, or automated tools without authorization.
- 4.6
Misinformation: Post false, misleading, or deceptive information that could harm others or damage the Platform's reputation.
- 4.7
Illegal Content: Share content that is illegal under Indian law or promotes illegal activity.
5. AI Tools & Outputs
5.1 AI-Generated Content
EduVarsity provides AI-powered features for lesson planning, content generation, and assessment creation. These tools generate suggestions and recommendations only and are not guaranteed to be:
- •Accurate, complete, or error-free
- •Pedagogically appropriate for all students
- •Compliant with curriculum standards or board requirements
- •Free of bias or potentially harmful content
5.2 User Responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and adapting all AI-generated content before sharing with students or publishing on the Platform. Do not rely solely on AI outputs; exercise professional judgment and judgment.
5.3 No Liability for AI Output
EduVarsity is not liable for any inaccuracies, errors, or harmful outcomes resulting from AI-generated content or your use of AI tools. You assume full responsibility for the consequences of using such content.
5.4 Content Attribution
If you use AI-generated content in your teaching materials or publications, clearly disclose that portions were AI-generated. Misrepresenting AI content as entirely original work may constitute academic dishonesty or misrepresentation.
6. Job Listings & Employment
6.1 Listing Service Only
EduVarsity operates as a job listing and networking service only. We are NOT an employer and do not directly hire, employ, or recruit individuals. The Platform merely facilitates connections between job seekers and schools/institutions that post positions.
6.2 No Employment Relationship
Any employment relationship, contractual terms, compensation, or working conditions are solely between you and the hiring school/institution. EduVarsity is not a party to any employment agreement and has no responsibility for employment disputes, wage payment, or working conditions.
6.3 Verification Responsibility
We do not verify the legitimacy of job postings or hiring institutions. You are responsible for independently verifying the credibility of job opportunities, employers, and salary offers. Exercise caution and perform due diligence before applying or accepting positions.
6.4 Prohibited Practices
You may not post job listings that are deceptive, fraudulent, or intended to solicit payment from job seekers. Asking candidates for upfront fees, deposits, or money is a major red flag and should be reported to us immediately.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
7.1 Platform IP
EduVarsity's brand, name, logo, design, layout, graphics, and underlying code are the intellectual property of Edgez Educare and Pinaze Dubash, PhD. All rights are reserved. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit any Platform materials without written permission.
7.2 User Content Rights
You retain ownership of all content you create. By posting on EduVarsity, you grant us a limited license to display and distribute your content within the Platform only (see Section 3.2).
7.3 Copyright Infringement
If you believe your copyright has been infringed, notify us via our support system with details of the infringing content. We will investigate and remove infringing material as required by law.
7.4 Third-Party Licensing
Ensure all content you post respects third-party intellectual property rights. Do not post copyrighted materials, images, videos, or music without proper licensing or permission.
8. Termination & Suspension of Accounts
8.1 Termination Rights
EduVarsity reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Termination may be immediate if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct.
8.2 Grounds for Termination
We may terminate your account for:
- •Violation of these Terms of Use or our Privacy Policy
- •Harassment, abuse, or threatening behavior toward users
- •Posting illegal, defamatory, or harmful content
- •Repeated spam or unauthorized promotional activity
- •Sharing student or confidential data without consent
- •Unauthorized access attempts or system abuse
- •Falsifying identity or registration information
8.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, you lose access to your account and all associated data. Content you posted may remain on the Platform but will not be attributed to you. You may not create a new account using the same or similar information without written permission.
8.4 Appeals
If you believe your account was terminated in error, you may submit an appeal via our support system with details of your case. We will review appeals within 30 days and respond accordingly.
9. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
9.1 "As Is" Service
EduVarsity is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties, representations, or guarantees of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or malicious code.
9.2 No Warranty
We disclaim all warranties including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI-generated content is accurate, that job listings are legitimate, or that connections made will result in employment or collaboration.
9.3 Limitation of Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EduVarsity, Edgez Educare, and their officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for:
- •Loss of data, profits, or revenue
- •Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- •Damages arising from content of other users
- •Service interruptions or technical failures
- •Loss of employment opportunities or income
9.4 Liability Cap
In any case, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you to EduVarsity in the 12 months preceding the claim, or zero if you have not made any payment.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EduVarsity, Edgez Educare, Pinaze Dubash PhD, and their officers, employees, agents, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- •Your violation of these Terms or applicable laws
- •Your use of the Platform or AI-generated content
- •Content you posted, created, or shared
- •Infringement of third-party intellectual property rights
- •Your interactions with other users or third parties
11. Modifications to Terms of Use
EduVarsity reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before becoming effective.
Your continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must discontinue using the Platform.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
12.1 Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
12.2 Exclusive Jurisdiction
Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising from or relating to these Terms, the Platform, or your use thereof shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Both parties consent to submit to the jurisdiction and venue of these courts.
12.3 No Arbitration
You agree that any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Pune and not through arbitration or alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy and any other agreements referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and EduVarsity regarding your use of the Platform. Any prior negotiations, understandings, or agreements are superseded by this Terms.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unenforceable, or illegal, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, or if not possible, shall be severed. The remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

If you have questions, concerns, or disputes regarding these Terms of Use, please contact us via our in-app support system. We will respond to your inquiry within 30 days.
For disputes that cannot be resolved through support, you may pursue legal action in the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India.
